"Sostain L'utopia" a fanzine catalog.

"Sostain L'utopia" was my last project/piece from 2012. It is my first homemade publication created with images of paintings and photographs of my work, beside original silkscreened pages printed by me.

The idea behind this book, was to create a zine catalog as an art piece itself. The book has images of different views from my approach to the idea of utopia and how important is for me to not give up the dream of accomplish happiness and self stability. The title means Sustain the utopia (Sostiene la utopia) and it's a mixed up phrase written in english, spanish and french.

The book is made by Inkjet printing (color & black/white) and printmaking pages. This is a limited edition of 100 copies only, numbered and signed.

Miami, winter 2013

   Last month I visited Miami with my family and I had the opportunity to share with my friend Doug aka Hox.  I met him last time I was there in 2010 at primary flight for the art basel week and we stayed in touch afterwards. From then on, I always wanted to come back south, last time it was too rushed.

This collaborative mural is located in "Little Haiti" (north Miami). An area that is starting to change through art and artist's studios, separating itself from the well know Wynwood area. 

After this wall, I met Alex from "Spaces" and he invited me to paint the smoothest rolling gate ever, at their building located in Wynwood district. 

   

I also got the chance to photograph a mural I did in 2010 for Primary Flight, which was a very fortunate situation cause I didn't have any official picture of this piece before this trip. I'm glad the building kept mine and it's in good condition.

Color Cekis by Leon Grauer

My friend Leon Grauer has just finished a new video,  about an untitled mural I painted in Fort Green Brooklyn between late 2012 and early 2012. He shot almost all the process of the painting and also made a interview with me, where I speak about the piece and other sutff.
